DAP Spackling Paste is a ready mixed, easy-to-apply patching compound for filling holes, cracks, and surface imperfections before painting. The spackle paste has a smooth working consistency and sands easily providing a durable, seamless surface. To use: apply, let dry, and sand until smooth. Designed to adhere well to various materials including plaster, wallboard and wood. Interior use.
Use before painting to fill and conceal small cracks, nail holes and blemishes in plaster, wallboard and wood
Vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) copolymer spackling paste is ready to use, stir thoroughly before application
Dries in 3 to 6 hours depending on temperature, humidity and fill depth; can paint with oil or latex based paints after fully dry
Spackling paste has a smooth working consistency and sands easily, wet sand to avoid dust generation
For repairs deeper than 1/4”, apply two or more thin layers allowing to dry between application
