Two doors don’t align, there’re gaps on the sides! Knobs on the doors don’t quite line up! Is this a product defect?

No, it’s not a product defect. Please check your user instruction, on Page 8, the sketch shows you how to adjust the door panel gap(up, down, left, right sides) by tightening or loosing the different screws on the hinges
